Call to Action: Reimbursements for School Health Centers |

THANK YOU to everyone who reached out to California 's U.S. Senators urging them to cosponsor S. 1043, the Health Schools act of 2009. Senator Barbara Boxer got our message and has signed on! We still need to work on Senator Dianne Feinstein. The bill would allow school health centers to receive the reimbursement they need and deserve for providing health and mental health services to children and youth enrolled in Medicaid and SCHIP. School Health Centers and Obesity Prevention |

CSHC recently completed a new obesity policy brief that presents evidence for the effectiveness of school-based interventions to promote nutrition and fitness and reduce obesity. We would like to send copies to anyone who can use them or distribute them.
