Where will the conference be held?
The conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency Orange County, less than 2 miles from Disneyland, and less than 20 miles from both John Wayne and Long Beach airports.
Will you be offering continuing education (CE) credits for any workshops?
We hope to be offering CEUs for at least one of our workshops and will provide more details on the workshop and hours offered when information is confirmed.
Is there a discount for the hotel where the conference will be held?
Yes, we have a room block at the Hyatt Regency Orange County and you can use this link to book your room with group code G-HC24. Group rates are $199 for a single or double room. We expect the hotel block to fill up, so reserve your room early.
I have a promo code. How do I use it?
Click the “Tickets” button on the top right of this screen. A window will pop up with “General Admission” and the price per ticket. There is a small blue “Enter promo code” link above that. Click on the link, enter your promo code, and press apply.
I am presenting. How do I register?
You should receive instructions that will include a code that you can enter above the General Admission listing when you get to the registration form (after clicking on the “Tickets” button on the top right). There is a small blue “Enter promo code” link above that. Click on the link, enter your promo code and press apply. Presenters receive a discounted registration rate of $150.
Do you offer scholarships?
We are able to offer a very limited number of scholarships with a reduced registration fee of $50 for individuals with financial need. Details on how to apply will be released soon.
Will there be an evening reception during the conference?
After Monday’s workshops, join us for a private reception at Bowlero Bowling Alley from 5:30-8:00 pm in the GardenWalk complex, just an 8-minute drive from the conference venue.
We’ve reserved the entire space exclusively for conference attendees to enjoy an evening of networking, socializing, bowling, arcade games, and more. Are meals provided?
We provide breakfast and lunch on both days. Our evening reception at Bowlero includes heavy appetizers and a free drink coupon.
What times are the conference sessions?
The schedule will be posted on the CSHA conference web page.
The conference takes place from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday and 8:30 am – 3:30 pm on Tuesday with plenaries and concurrent morning and afternoon breakout sessions. You will choose workshop sessions in the morning and afternoon with a hosted lunch in between. We will offer breakfast and lunch.
Where do I park and how much is it?
Self-parking is available at $20 per day with the conference discount, while valet parking is $36 per pay with no discount. Be sure to get your parking ticket validated at the registration table to receive the discount.
Can the conference sell out?
We are expecting between 700 and 800 attendees. Our conference does sell out so register early to make sure you can attend.
Will any part of the conference be streamed or presented virtually?
We will not be streaming or virtually presenting any part of the conference this year.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, you do not need to bring a printed ticket to this event.
Can I update my registration information?
Yes. Log in to your Eventbrite account to update your registration information.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Conference registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Your registration is confirmed once payment is made via credit card at the time of registration.
In the event that you need to cancel, your cancellation request will need to be submitted to CSHA via email on or before April 4, 2025. You have the option to transfer your ticket to another person at any time. Please note that refunds are subject to a $75 cancellation fee per attendee.
While tickets can still be transferred after April 4, 2025, no refunds will be issued for cancellation received after this date.
Do you accept purchase orders or checks as a form of payment for conference registration?
As of this year, the conference only accepts credit cards for registration payments. Purchase orders and checks are no longer accepted. Organizations without a dedicated credit card have found solutions by using a supervisor’s or colleague’s card, requesting a one-time limit increase, or spreading transactions over multiple days to stay within card limits. Alternatively, some organizations work with their purchasing departments to initiate a requisition and convert it into a credit card payment instead of completing a purchase order.

Is my ticket transferrable?
Registration transfers are allowed and may be made by the registrant directly in our registration system at any time, without an additional fee, using the link provided in your confirmation email from Eventbrite or on the registration confirmation page. From there, you can update the ticket holder’s name and email address, if the option is available.
If your ticket was purchased by someone else, the transfer option may not be accessible to you. In these cases or if you encounter any issues, please email CSHA for assistance.
Do you have a photo release or media policy?
Registration and attendance at, or participation in, California School-Based Health Alliance’s meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the California School-Based Health Alliance’s use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities.
What do you do with the information we provide during registration?
California School-Based Health Alliance reserves the right to update California School-Based Health Alliance’s database with information provided by registrants for the 2025 California School Health Conference.
